The Million Person Project (MPP) is a global project about love, storytelling and connecting change makers. Through one-on-one coaching and small group programs, MPP supports change makers to identify and own their personal story and be able to powerfully share it as it relates to their work in the world.
MPP has worked with over 1,500 change makers from 67 countries and have spent a month on the ground in Vietnam, South Africa, Brazil, Turkey, Uganda, Sweden and across the Pacific Islands. The storytellers they have worked with have gone on to speak at United Nations conferences for the first time, been interviewed by CNN and BBC, presented keynote addresses at global gatherings and more. Some of their partners include: 350.org, Black Girls Code, Miami High Water Line Project, Catalyst Week Vegas and Kikandwa Environmental Organization and New York’s City Growers.
Founders of MPP, Heather and Julian, are expert storytellers who utilize the curriculum of storytelling guru and Harvard professor Marshall Ganz and are members of his Leading Change Network. Julian has been mentored by globally recognized orator and green jobs visionary Van Jones and Heather by nationally acclaimed leadership coach and transformational speaker, Rha Goddess.
